This really depends on you, your business and how you need to be supported. The most common needs that I see for a majority of my clients are communication and scheduling. So email, calendar, all of the ins and outs of the communication that need to happen to execute on that client service, prospect management, travel, family life. 

It's never easy to completely hand off something that you've been managing on your own for so long, because there's so many what ifs. What if it goes wrong? What if it doesn't get right get done right? We believe if you follow the DASH Method and you have the right assistant, delgegating will get easier and the handoff will become faster.

This is so tough. If you're not working with the right assistant for you, likely deep down you will have a gut feeling that you already know the answer to this question. Our advice would be that you make whatever decision you need to make. This will be best for you in the long run, because it never benefits you or your assistant to work together if you're not the right fit.

There are two main ways we recommend looking for an assistant. The first is through your network, maybe posting through your Facebook page or your other social media accounts. We can always find the best referrals by going to the people that we already know, like, and trust. Second, you can post an opening online or use a hiring platform.

We highly recommend that you utilize the Time Maximizer tool. Our rule of thumb is that when you feel like you are spending more than 5 hours a week on items that you do not want to be working on, you need the consistent support of an assistant for 5-10 hours per week. This is really where you will start to see the value in getting things off of your plate, so you can focus on what you do best.
